Journaling:

Abby and Brad go swimming at the Recreation Center once a week. I have been working the afternoon shift for a while now and will be working the same for probably another month which is fine. I have time to spend with Abby in the morning and I’m home at night. And Brad is home while I’m at work.
Abby is walking everywhere around the house now. We rarely see her crawl anymore. She goes in to the kitchen and opens the cupboards. She runs from time to time.
Abby is also starting to talk. She started saying Dadda and Momma earlier. And then for the longest time we never heard it again. And Now she’s starting to talk again. She says Mama, Apple, Ball, Duck, Hi, Wow!, Two. If she sees an apple anywhere she will say “apple”. Oh, it was so cute when she blurted apple for the first time. She also tries to repeat anything you say. Most of the time she just babbles while holding some toys. She likes to play with the phone pretending that she is talking. ( we have a video of her doing this). If you ask her where her nose or other body part is she will point to it.
Just to give you an update about Abby’s birthmark. I’m happy to share that her bm is getting smaller. If you look at the picture it looks big because it’s focus but it is a lot smaller in person.
